Iced Kakao Chai

Iced Cocoa Chai

This iced chai is perfect for all cocoa lovers. The recipe was created together with Shiruna using our cocoa chai blend. Recipe for 2 glasses of iced chai.

Ingredients:

Part 1 – Ice cubes:

  • 200 ml water
  • 1-2 teaspoons cocoa chai mix
  • 1-2 teaspoons cocoa powder

Part 2:

  • 300 ml plant-based milk
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa chai mix
  • 1 tablespoon date syrup

Preparation:

  1. Put the water in a pot and bring to the boil, add the chai mixture and let it steep on a low heat for 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the tea into a jug (pull through a sieve).
  2. Add the cocoa powder to the jug and stir. Allow to cool.
  3. Pour the contents of the jug into ice cube trays, place in the freezer and chill for 2 hours.
  4. After two hours, pour the plant-based milk into a pot and bring to the boil, add the chai mixture and let it simmer for 5 minutes on a low heat. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the cocoa chai into a jug (pass it through a sieve). Allow to cool.
  5. Take ice cubes out of the freezer and divide them into two glasses.
Pour the jug of cooled cocoa chai into the glasses. Add the date syrup, stir and enjoy.
