Golden Porridge

Golden Porridge

We love this breakfast creation from Shiruna .

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric chai mix
  • 50 ml water
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 150 ml oat milk
  • 1/3 teaspoon pumpkin spice / cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut blossom sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter

Preparation:

  1. Put the water in a pot and bring to the boil, add the turmeric chai mixture and let it simmer for 5 minutes on a low heat. Remove the pot from the heat and strain the mixture through a sieve and pour it back into the pot.
  2. Now add the milk and the oat flakes to the pot. Add the pumpkin spice powder/cinnamon powder and the coconut blossom sugar and stir in.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the porridge from burning.
Turn off the heat, stir in the cashew butter and then arrange the porridge on a plate and garnish with fruits and nuts of your choice.
