Chaisicles

Our light, refreshing summer version of a water ice cream. The recipe was created by Shiruna with our turmeric chai mix. The recipe is suitable for 2 large or 4 small ice creams.

Ingredients:

  • 120ml + 40 ml almond milk (measured separately)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric chai mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste / extract
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon goji berries

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, bring 120 ml almond milk and 1 teaspoon turmeric chai mixture to the boil. Allow to cool. Strain as desired, some like the spice residue, some don't.
  2. Stir 1.5 tablespoons of agave syrup into the chai. In a separate bowl, stir the remaining agave syrup with the remaining almond milk and vanilla essence and store in the refrigerator until using in step 4.
  3. Pour the turmeric chai mixture into the molds, filling them about 3/4 full and place the stick in the middle. Carefully place the molds in the freezer and chill for 2 hours.
Take the molds out of the freezer, pour the vanilla milk into the remaining space in the molds, sprinkle with goji and chia and put back in the freezer for 4 hours. Take out and enjoy.
