Chaisicles
Our light, refreshing summer version of a water ice cream. The recipe was created by Shiruna with our turmeric chai mix. The recipe is suitable for 2 large or 4 small ice creams.
Ingredients:
- 120ml + 40 ml almond milk (measured separately)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric chai mix
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste / extract
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon goji berries
Preparation:
- In a saucepan, bring 120 ml almond milk and 1 teaspoon turmeric chai mixture to the boil. Allow to cool. Strain as desired, some like the spice residue, some don't.
- Stir 1.5 tablespoons of agave syrup into the chai. In a separate bowl, stir the remaining agave syrup with the remaining almond milk and vanilla essence and store in the refrigerator until using in step 4.
- Pour the turmeric chai mixture into the molds, filling them about 3/4 full and place the stick in the middle. Carefully place the molds in the freezer and chill for 2 hours.
