Bubble Chai
The popular bubble tea with our traditional chai. This recipe was developed together with Shiruna .
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Boba:
- 60g tapioca pearls (black and sweetened)
- Water
Tea:
- 5 tsp Traditional Chai Blend
- 400g oat milk (chilled)
- 100g water (chilled)
- 6 tbsp date syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
Preparation Part 1:
- Fill a pot with at least 300 ml of water and bring it to the boil.
- Add the boba pearls and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until completely done.
- Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Let the boba pearls rest in cold water to prevent them from sticking.
Preparation part 2:
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan and add the chai mixture. Let the mixture simmer on a low heat for about 5 minutes and then strain the chai. Let it cool at room temperature for a few minutes.
- Mix the milk with the chai.
- Put the ice cubes and date syrup in two glasses. Divide the boba pearls evenly between the glasses.
- Pour in the chai, add a thick straw and enjoy.
